* What's New (v8.32) - September 18, 2017
  • Added: Define Spacing: Vector & Long Arrows: "Center arrow height" field is added.
  • Added: "Apply Character's Sub/Superscript Before Gap for Under/Over Bars and Arrows template" checkbox added to Define Spacing: Super/Subscript to Template pane.
  • Fixed: Some LaTeX symbol names for Set commands changed and fixed.

* What's New (v8.31) - July 7, 2017
  • Added: MSWord's MathML expression can be pasted into MathMagic.
  • Added: Control-click or Right-button click on a Template or Symbol toolbar button will detach the palette.
  • Changed: Some messages and UI improved.
  • Fixed: Color did not work for Line between Boxes when saved in EPS.

* What's New (v8.3) - December 23, 2016
  • Changed: LaTeX exporting does not add "\mathrm" for non-Variable components.
  • Fixed: "Not Equal" symbol on the Plus-Minus symbol palette corrected to \ne for LaTeX conversion.

* System Requirements
  • Pentium or faster
  • Windows XP or newer including Vista, 7, 8, 10
  • About 30MB of hard disk space for complete installation

* Installation
  • If installing on Windows XP,
    • Download the latest Installer from download page
    • Double click on the installer icon to proceed the installation
    • Launch MathMagic application from Windows menu or from the following location:
      \Program Files\MathMagic Personal Edition\MathMagic Personal 8.x.exe
  • If installing on Windows Vista or newer,
    • Download the latest Installer from download page
    • Right-click on the installer application, and select 'Properties".
    • Double click on the installer icon to proceed the installation.
    • After installation, select MathMagic application from the following location:
      \Program Files (x86)\MathMagic Personal Edition\MathMagic Personal 8.x.exe
    • Right-click on it, select 'Properties".
    • Select "Windows XP SP3" compatibility mode, and turn on "Run as an Administrator" privilege.
      (This is to make MathMagic read/write Registry correctly. Otherwise, Registry error message might be displayed depending on your log-in ID's privilege.)
    • Then, launch MathMagic Personal application.
Uninstall MathMagic Personal utility will help you remove most of the installed files. But in some cases some installed files may not be removed if used by other application or system.
