- Added: Under View menu, DarkGray View options are added for Template Palettes and Symbol Palettes for 100%, 150%, 200% and 300% View rate.
- Added: Some more horizontal Paren and Brace types for Over and Under templates created with MathMagic Mac versions are supported.
- Added: Some Hyperbolic Trigonometric functions (such as 'arcsinh', 'csch', 'sech', ...) recognized additionally as Function name style.
- Added: "Remember Last View rate" option is added to View menu to maintain the view rate of the equation window when re-opened.
- Changed: Calligraphy Symbol palette updated to represent those symbols better.
- Changed: the cursor locates at the end when a document is opened.
- Fixed: Auto Checking interval fixed for checking the latest version.
- Fixed: Some crashing bugs and minor UI improved.

- Added: Used ^ and _ for Script box key commend under Edit menu to turn On / Off '^' key for Superscript and '_' key for Subscript box .

- If installing on Windows XP,
- Download the latest Installer from download page
- Double click on the installer icon to proceed the installation
- Launch MathMagic application from Windows menu or from the following location:
\Program Files (x86)\MathMagic Personal Edition\MathMagic Personal 8.x.exe
|
- If installing on Windows Vista or newer,
- Download the latest Installer from download page
- Right-click on the installer application, and select 'Properties".
- Double click on the installer icon to proceed the installation.
- After installation, select MathMagic application from the following location:
\Program Files (x86)\MathMagic Personal Edition\MathMagic Personal 8.x.exe
- Right-click on it, select 'Properties".
- Select "Windows XP SP3" compatibility mode, and turn on "Run as an Administrator" privilege.
(This is to make MathMagic read/write Registry correctly. Otherwise, Registry error message might be displayed depending on your log-in ID's privilege.)
- Then, launch MathMagic Personal application.

Uninstall MathMagic Personal utility will help you remove most of the installed files. But in some cases some installed files may not be removed if used by other application or system. |
