MathMagic Personal Edition is a stand-alone equation editor for editing any mathematical expressions and symbols with easy-to-use graphical interface and various powerful features.

MathMagic Personal Edition v1.0 PreRelease version will be expired on Sep. 30, 2003.
Please note that this is still under-stabilization. So it may be unstable or cause application crashes. The final release version may have some different menu configuration and User interface than the current PreRelease version. The file format may be changed in the final release version and the file compatibility may not be offerred. So please do not use the current version for any critical tasks.

- Trimmed floating window title resource and some other resources.
- Checks ranges of the maximum and minimum values in Size - Ohter Size command.
- Detects wrong values in the Define dialog box.
- Apply bounding gaps to the WMF format file.
- Changed the OLE object name from MathMagic Document to MathMagic Equaiton.
- Variable-height integrals are supported.
- Fixed : StyleSet don't check duplicate style names.
- Fixed : Clipping Window is not displayed in 800x600 resolution screen
- Fixed : When user make a custom matrix via control-T-M, unnecessary charatacter 'M' is displayed.
- Fixed : Garbage character 'o' is displayed in the message box or dialog box.
- Fixed : Focus is not moved to the edit area after selecting an item in the toolbar's combo box.
- Fixed : In a Microsoft Word document, inserted MathMagic equation objects are printed in smaller size

- Automatic Baseline adjustment is not working with Microsoft Word when inserted as an OLE or by Copy/Paste.
- Right after deleting an equation block with a delete key in a document window, pressing an arrow key causes crash.
- Non-Roman keyboard layout may not work with predefined shortcut keys.
- Printing is limited to one page.
- TeX import may cause crash or improper layout if the TeX file is complicated.
- Some symbols can not be inserted or printed.

- About 10MB of hard disk space for complete installation

* Installation |
|
Double click on the installer icon to begin and proceed the installation. Below files are installed in your hard disk.
|
- MathMagic Personal folder in the Program files folder of the local harddisk drive otherwise specified by user.
- ReadMe and other documents
- MathMagic Fonts (TrueType) in the Fonts folder on Windows
- Sample clips in MathMagic Personal folder

Once you have installed with Easy Install option, later you may want to install a certain part again with a Custom Install option.
Remove will help you remove most of the installed files. But in some cases the installed files may not be removed if used by other application or system. |
