If you are using macOS X 10.14 or older, please use the 32-bit version.
If you are using macOS X 10.14 or newer, please use the 64-bit version.
On macOS X 10.14, you can use both 32-bit version and 64-bit version. The 32-bit version may have a bit more features available. The 64-bit version may offer you more modern user interface.

MathMagic Lite is a FREE equation editor.
It is a stand-alone application for writing and editing any mathematical expressions and symbols with easy-to-use interface and various powerful features.
MathMagic Lite offers various symbols and templates for elementary ~ high school math and post-secondary math.
MathMagic Lite Edition works well with most word processors like iWork Pages or Mellel, presentation software like Keynote or PowerPoint, graphic software such as PhotoShop, Illustrator, and more,
via Copy and Paste, Drag and Drop, or Exporting in SVG, PNG, JPG and other formats.

- Changed: Contextual menu items rearranged when the right button was clicked or control-clicked using the mouse or trackpad.
- Fixed: Import/Export Options - TeX pane had a few issues with saving popup menu selections.
- Fixed: Accents or Negates are displayed on top of its base character or symbol to make it look better when a color applied.
- Fixed(Pro only): Size menu - Define Size dialog -> "Separate Size for Integral Symbol" checkbox was not working with Japanese script.

- Added: Copy and Copy As commands now support margin values for copied images.
- Added: PDF format is supported for macOS 14 Sonoma.
- Changed: Drag&Drop now makes the image size based on the current editor window's View rate for WYSIWYG.
- Changed: Default Copy rate is changed to 100% from 200%, specified at Import/Export Options - Image size for Copy.
- Fixed: Copy and Copy As commands work with the rate value specified at Import/Export Options - Image size for Copy.
- Fixed: Double-quote (") and a few special characters were not saved in the equation file.

- Added: The drawing of Fraction bar, Square root, vertical lines, and many Frame types and some other templates are improved for screen display, PNG and JPEG saving.
- Added: Copy As JPG command is added to the right-button click contextual menu.
- Changed: The default settings of Western cursor moving and Auto Update checking changed for Japanese and Korean versions.

- Added: Drag and drop, Copy and Paste work better with Finder and other applications.
- Fixed: Triple-click selects the whole line correctly.

- Added: Contextual menu is now supported when right-clicking with the mouse in the editor window.
- Added: Control-space key is supported if it is not used as a shortcut key by the OS, such as Spotlight. The space width is specified from MathMagic Preferences -> Shape window.
- Fixed: Edit -> Copy As LaTeX and some other formats did not work.

- Fixed: Creating new StyleSet files with Bold and/or Italic faces from the Define Style dialog caused issues if the font name had a space.
- Fixed: New editor window and Main toolbar did not become active sometimes after closing the Trial warning dialog right after MathMagic launched.
- Fixed: Some UI and messages changed.

- Added: File -> Convert... command supported for Batch conversions.
- Added: Edit -> Copy As ... commands supported.
- Added: Pasting LaTeX, Plain TeX, MathML, Math Speech and some other text based math expressions are supported.
- Added: Edit -> Use Magic control key option is supported, to enable control modifier key tooltip to enter any palette items and User Items from the keyboard, without using the mouse.
- Added: Edit -> Register Shortcuts command supported to assign Shortcut keys for User Items and Clips items.
- Added: Edit -> Copy as JPEG option added.
- Changed: MathMagic File Format (.mmf) version number is changed so opening older MathMagic equations may display a warning message. Opening new MathMagic files from any older MathMagic application may also show the warning message if the Alert option is turned on from Preferences -> Misc.
- Changed: Window -> Reset Loc of all Floating windows command now shows all floating windows and place them automatically.
- Changed: Cascade editor windows automatically with a better offset when multiple editor windows are opened.
- Changed: "Copy As ~" commands now save only the selected format to the clipboard and do not copy the user-specified clipboard formats from Import/Export Options -> General pane.
- Fixed: Some settings from Import/Export Options dialog were not saved when switching tabs or when reopening the dialog.

- MathMagic Lite is Free so no License code required. And no Trial version availabe for MathMagic Lite.
