Note for Windows Vista users.
If some OpenType fonts are not installed by the installer, please install MathMagic OpenType fonts manually.
For more information about Windows Vista compatibility, please read the ReadMeFirst document in the installed MathMagic folder inside \Program Files\ folder.

- Added: Batch Conversion dialog now supports AsciiMath.
- Changed: MathMagic files generated from Batch conversion now have a simpler file format.
- Changed: A few more sample equations added to the default Clips window.
- Changed: Batch conversion dialog now lists MS Word document(.doc, .docx) and AsciiMath(.amath) files for "All files" reading item.
- Fixed: Numbers with a decimal point were not combined as a whole number when exported as AsciiMath.
- Fixed: MS Word 2007's OpenMathML equations not converted correctly for some scripts and symbols.
- Fixed: Some LaTeX expressions handled better.

- Added: Equations created with MS Word 2007 or newer, and saved in OpenMathML in .docx format, are now supported by MS Word Batch converter from File -> Convert dialog.
- Added: ASCII Math is supported for Import and Export. Copy As and Paste also support and automatically recognize AsciiMath format. AsciiMath delimiters can be selected from File -> Import/Export Options dialog to make it compatible with AsciiMathML.
- Added: Image size for Copy & Export can be specified by any value between 50% ~ 800% from File -> Import/Export Options dialog.
- Changed: When one of Format -> "Align at ~" options applied, inserting 0 pt Space or any Vertical/Horizontal Strut bar templates can ignore the next "Relational Operator" so that another "Relational Operator" symbol can be used to align at.
- Fixed: Some LaTeX commands for symbols handled better.
- Fixed: Some old version created equations had black background color when saved in EPS format.
- Fixed: MathMagic could not extract(Convert) equations from Some Word files.
- Fixed: Some file extensions not recognized in the Open dialog.
- Fixed: Renaming old file did not work during the Batch conversion if old file name was duplicated again.

- Changed: Changed: "Save As" dialog now remembers the last saved file format.
- Changed: Enlarging values for Vertical fences and Horizontal fences can work better with smaller values if 200% or more.
- Changed: Align at '=' works with other "Relational Operators" such as = ≠ < ≤ > ≥ ...
- Fixed: When a selection is made backward to the beginning of a line, clicking on Nudge menu causes a crash.
- Fixed: When a global background color specified, saving in EPS was not working properly.
- Fixed: Background colors of nested boxes disappeared in some cases.
- Fixed: Screen update improved while typing in a few specific cases.
- Fixed: Save As format for MathML was saved in WMF format.

- Added: Added: Two layers of Background color supported. Background color can be applied to each box or to the entire equation.
- Added: Space template revised. 'n' width space and several Hyphens and Dashes added.
- Added: JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG formats supported in saving and converting.
- Added: Horizontal Phantom templates(Left, Center, and Right alingments with a fixed full sized width) supported.
- Added: "Line between Boxes" submenu added under Format menu for easier multi level vertical divisions and other equation forms.
- Added: "Line between Boxes Overhang" field added to Box and Char Property tab under Define Spacing dialog.
- Added: "Minimum Gap Below" field and "Nested Bar/Arrow Gap" field added to Defined Spacing -> Over/Under Templates(Bar/Arrow) pane.
- Changed: More trial period offered (up to 50 equations).
- Changed: Warning message added when applying a Style/Size/Font without a prior selection.
- Changed: StyleSet file list updated instantly so user can add or remove StyleSet files directly to the StyleSets folder while MathMagic is running.
- Changed: The thickness of the cursor line is now variable depending on the current view rate.
- Fixed: Pasting MathMagic equation back to MathMagic window not worked some cases.

- About 15MB of hard disk space for complete installation

| * Installation |
- If installing on Windows XP or earlier,
- Download the latest Installer from download page
- Double click on the installer icon to proceed the installation
- Launch MathMagic application from Windows menu or from the following location:
\Program Files\MathMagic Personal Edition\
|
- If installing on Windows Vista,
- Download the latest Installer from download page
- Right-click on the installer application, and select 'Properties".
- Select "Windows XP" compatibility mode, and turn on "Run as an Administrator" privilege.
(This is to make the installer install MathMagic OpenType fonts correctly. Otherwise, some OpenType fonts may not be installed automatically even if they can be installed manually.)
- Then, double click on the installer icon to proceed the installation.
- After installation, select MathMagic application from the following location:
\Program Files\MathMagic Personal Edition\
- Right-click on it, select 'Properties".
- Select "Windows XP" compatibility mode, and turn on "Run as an Administrator" privilege.
(This is to make MathMagic read/write Registry correctly. Otherwise, Registry error message might be displayed.)
- Then, launch MathMagic application.

| UnInstall will help you remove most of the installed files. But in some cases the installed files may not be removed if used by other application or system. |
